The location

Farm Zonneveld is located in Rossum, a beautiful village next to the town of Zaltbommel. Rossum is situated in the Bommelerwaard, a region between the rivers Waal and Maas in the North to the South. This rivers and polders landscape makes this area so unique in The Netherlands. In the historical town of Zaltbommel and the charming villages in the region is a lot to see and do. Shopping, museum, restaurants, walking, cycling, riding a horse. Many farmers offer good recreational activities on their farms.

Accessibility

Zonneveld is easy to reach by train and located 2 km away from the railway station Zaltbommel. We have a transfer service from and to the station. By car it is a few minutes to drive from the exit 17 (Zaltbommel) on the A2 highway to the farm.

The cosy city in Brabant, s’Hertogenbosch is 15 km away. The distance to Amsterdam and Rotterdam is 75 km and to Utrecht, Nijmegen and Eindhoven 45 kilometers. Farm Zonneveld is centrally located in the Netherlands.

De locatie

Boerderij Zonneveld ligt in Rossum, een prachtig lommerrijk dorp naast het historische stadje Zaltbommel. Rossum ligt in de Bommelerwaard. Dit is een streek in het zuidwesten van de Nederlandse provincie Gelderland, gelegen tussen de rivieren de Waal in het noorden, de Maas in het oosten en zuiden, en de Afgedamde Maas in het westen. De rivieren en het polderlandschap zijn bepalend voor het karakteristieke landschap. 
Het mooie vestingsstadje Zaltbommel en de gezellige dorpen maken het tot een regio waar veel te beleven is.

Bereikbaarheid

Wij zijn goed te bereiken per trein, het station Zaltbommel ligt op 2 kilometer afstand. Met de auto is het enkele minuten rijden vanaf de A2, afslag 17 (Zaltbommel) of afslag 19 (Kerkdriel) naar de boerderij.
De gezellige Brabantse stad 's-Hertogenbosch ligt op 15 km afstand. Boerderij Zonneveld ligt centraal gelegen in Nederland, Amsterdan en Rotterdam 75km, Utrecht, Nijmegen en Eindhoven 45 km.

Voor groepen op afspraak zijn we dagelijks geopend. 

De zelfbediengskraam met streekproducten en het zelfbediengsterras zijn dagelijks geopend.
